Button
Add a Button, set a clear label, and link it to a web address or email. Prefer action words (“Register”, “Give”, “Learn more”).
Form, Survey, and Poll
Metter treats these as three separate Tool box blocks. Each opens its own pencil settings and records responses to your workspace when readers submit on a published link.
- Form: a short field list (name, email, dropdowns, consent, etc.) — good for sign-ups and contact capture
- Survey: multiple questions with types like short text, long text, rating, yes/no, or multiple choice
- Poll: one quick multiple-choice question — renamed from the older “Poll response box” label; best for a single vote
Publish provisions cloud forms
When you Publish or Copy link, Metter provisions a cloud form for each Form, Survey, Poll, and popup-embedded form in that issue. Readers submit against the live version. Each person can answer once per form (tracked by session and, when provided, email).
Popup with an embedded form
Popup blocks can include an embedded Form. Use the popup pencil to add fields the same way as a standalone Form block. Publish provisions that embed like any other collect block.
