Use Publish for a public reader link. Use Private when you want a password-protected review link for a small group.

Public links

Publish saves your draft and freezes a reader-ready version on your public link. Keep editing anytime; publish again when you want that link to show updates.

Private review

Private creates a review link that asks for a password you set. Change the password anytime from the Password control. A private link does not remove a live public link.

What readers see

• Private links ask for the password you chose
