Email campaigns

Send short preview emails from your domain that open your Metter newsletter: lists, DKIM, and plan limits.

4 min read, updated Aug 2026

By default Metter Email sends a rich inbox preview from your above-the-fold editor content that opens your published newsletter. For a full custom HTML body, use Create HTML email under Emails → Drafts (Metter still injects unsubscribe links and your postal footer).

Setup

  1. Start a 14-day free trial on /subscribe (card required — you won’t be charged until the trial ends). Unlimited email is priced by contact cap; custom newsletter domains are free on Growth+.
  2. Open Dashboard → Contacts to create a list and upload a CSV.
  3. CSV columns can be in any order. Email is required (Email or Subscriber). Extra columns are saved as custom fields and can be named later in Settings.
  4. Open Settings → Email → Domains → Send from your domain; add your website and From address.
  5. At your DNS host, add the Required DKIM CNAMEs (plus recommended SPF/DMARC), then Check DNS.
  6. Use Settings → Email → Send for the guided campaign flow (draft resume, auto email preview, optional subject test).
